Featured Creators are the photographers, bloggers and brands who make AvatarShot grow: they post regularly and bring new creators with them. In return, AvatarShot puts them in front of everyone.

Three ways in

Post 20 shots people love

Publish at least 20 public shots in 30 days and get likes from at least 10 different members: you become a Featured Creator automatically. Likes from the team and the official bots don’t count, only real people.

Bring 10 active creators

Every member can earn it: when 10 people you invited become active creators (profile completed and a few shots posted), you become a Featured Creator automatically. Accounts left empty don’t count.

Be invited by the team

Known photographers, bloggers and brands from Second Life and the other virtual worlds can be invited directly by the AvatarShot team. If that’s you, write to us from Help & support.

What Featured Creators get

A gold mark next to your name on your profile, so everyone knows you are one of the creators behind AvatarShot.

Every Pro feature, free

Pro for as long as you are a Featured Creator: video clips, shop links, unlimited collections and more.

Suggested to everyone

You appear in “People you may know” for members who don’t follow you yet, so new followers find you.

Your profile is listed on this page, which we share on our channels and in our news.

Shared on our channels

The team picks shots by Featured Creators for the AvatarShot social channels and the Magazine, always with credit to you.

A direct line

Early access to new features and a direct line to the team for your ideas and requests.

The rules

An invite becomes active when the person you invited has confirmed their email, added a profile photo and a short bio, and published at least 3 public shots. Accounts left empty never count.
With 10 active invites you become a Featured Creator automatically. The team can also invite known creators and brands directly.
You also become a Featured Creator automatically by publishing 20 public shots in 30 days liked by at least 10 different members. Your own likes, the team’s and the official bots’ don’t count.
On the 1st of every month the member with the best score of the previous month (shots + 2 × fans, with the thresholds above) becomes Creator of the month: a 🌟 badge, a place on the home page and here. Nobody wins two months in a row.
To keep the status, publish at least 4 public shots every 30 days. New Featured Creators get a full 30 days before this rule starts.
If you post less, we send you a notification and you have 14 more days to catch up; after that the status and its free Pro end.
If you earned it with your invites or by posting, it comes back by itself when you meet the requirements again. If the team invited you, ask us.
Fake accounts, inviting yourself, bought followers or spam end the status and can lead to suspension. The status is personal and has no cash value.
