Or in Samsung Internet or Edge. It doesn’t work inside Instagram, Facebook or Discord.

Use the button on this page or the banner at the bottom. No banner? Tap ⋮ at the top right, then “Install app” or “Add to Home screen”.

Tap “Install” again in the window that opens.

Open it from your Home Screen
The AvatarShot icon is ready. Open it and turn on notifications.

Open avatarshot.com in Safari
It has to be Safari: on iPhone, other browsers and apps like Instagram can’t install apps.

Tap the Share button
It’s the square with an arrow pointing up, at the bottom of the screen (at the top on iPad).

Choose “Add to Home Screen”
Scroll the list down a little to find it, then tap “Add”.

Open it from your Home Screen
Open AvatarShot from the new icon, then turn on notifications from the 🔔 page (iOS 16.4 or later).

Is it free?
Yes, completely. It’s the same AvatarShot, with the same account: Pro, if you have it, comes along.
Why isn’t it in the app store?
It doesn’t need to be. It installs straight from the site, takes almost no space and always has the latest version.
Do I have to log in again?
Maybe once, the first time you open it. Then you stay logged in.
How do I remove it?
Like any app: press and hold the icon and remove it. Your account and photos stay on AvatarShot.
