Child Safety Standards

Last updated: September 30, 2026

AvatarShot (website and Android app) has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). These standards apply to every shot, image, caption, comment, profile, group and direct message on AvatarShot.

What is prohibited

  • Any content that sexualises minors, including child sexual abuse material, whether real, drawn, computer-generated or AI-generated.
  • Sexual or suggestive content featuring avatars that are designed to look like, or are presented as, children.
  • Grooming, sexual solicitation of minors, sextortion, and any attempt to contact a minor for sexual purposes.
  • Sharing, requesting, advertising or linking to such content, on AvatarShot or elsewhere.

How we prevent it

  • Members must be at least 16 years old. 18+ content is available only to adult members who choose to see it, and is never shown to minors.
  • Every uploaded image goes through an automatic safety check before publication; images flagged as possibly involving minors are hidden and sent to our moderators.
  • Our team reviews reports and moderates content, and can remove content and suspend accounts immediately.

How to report

  • In the app or on the website: on any shot, open the ⋯ menu → Report → “Involves or sexualises minors”. Direct messages can be reported from the message menu.
  • Help & support: avatarshot.com/support, also without an account.
  • Email: hello@avatarshot.com.

Reports about the safety of minors are handled with the highest priority.

What we do

  • We remove the content and permanently ban the accounts involved.
  • We preserve the relevant information as required by law, and report CSAM and child exploitation to the competent authorities, such as the NCMEC CyberTipline and the Italian Postal Police (Polizia Postale – CNCPO).
  • We cooperate with law enforcement requests in accordance with applicable law.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
