Sparks: say “I love your work”

A Spark is a free thank-you you send to a creator — not to one shot, to the person. Everyone can send one Spark to each creator. Sparks light up profiles, unlock levels and put creators on the leaderboards.

✦

One per creator

Open a profile and press ✦ Give a Spark. You can send one to every creator you like, and take it back if you change your mind.

🎁

Free, forever

Sparks cost nothing and have no cash value. Their value is the recognition: levels, a glowing avatar and a public list of everyone who sparked you.

🔁

Spark back

When someone sparks you, you get a notification and can spark them back in one tap from your Sparks list. It’s how creators find each other.

Creator levels

The more Sparks you receive, the brighter your profile: each level has its own colour, shown next to your name and as a glow around your avatar.

  1. ✦ Spark from 1 Spark
  2. ✦ Glow from 5 Sparks
  3. ✦ Flame from 10 Sparks
  4. ✦ Blaze from 25 Sparks
  5. ✦ Beacon from 50 Sparks
  6. ✦ Nova from 100 Sparks
  7. ✦ Star from 250 Sparks
  8. ✦ Supernova from 500 Sparks
  9. ✦ Constellation from 1,000 Sparks

Giver levels

Sparking others is recognised too: generous members earn a giver level on their profile.

  1. 🕯️ Kindler 1 Spark given
  2. 🕯️ Lamplighter 10 Sparks given
  3. 🕯️ Torchbearer 50 Sparks given
